Engineering, permitting and construction are underway bringing high-speed internet to more locations in North Carolina.

Brightspeed announced a multi-million-dollar investment that will provide high-speed internet to more locations in North Carolina. Fiber deployment has begun in and around Fayetteville, NC, and Rocky Mount, NC (Cumberland and Nash counties).

Engineering, permitting and construction are underway in both communities to connect the more than 115,000 local homes and businesses that Brightspeed will soon serve. In Cumberland County, nearly 1,000 of the more than 85,000 addresses are already online, and 13,000 of the approximately 30,000 in Rocky Mount are ready for customers to upgrade their service.
